About UsJames Gary met Miho Ito at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music in 1989. James had a Kawai 6'1 grand piano in San Diego and Miho had a Yamaha upright in Japan. After graduating their goal was to get married and get those pianos under one roof.
The Gary Studio took off in San Diego North County and eventually an electronic organ and keyboard were added to the studio. The Gary's spent the next 20 plus years facilitating hundreds of people of all ages to achieve their musical dreams and to exceed their expectations. During that time the Gary's forged many professional alliances with teaching organizations and trusted colleagues. Chief of these are the California Assoc. of Professional Music Teachers (www.capmt.org), Music Teacher's National Association (www.mtna.org), the Music Teacher's Association of California (www.mtac.org), and the Maxman Studio (www.youtube.com). |
